Kaye Spencer writes steamy romances from her basement hovel in a quiet little neighborhood in rural southeastern Colorado. She’s been a writer for most of her varied and adventurous life. Kaye is also published as A.L. Debran. While Kaye is drawn to cowboys of the Old West, all romance genres are within her sphere of story-crafting. Kaye grew up on a ranch then spent many years racing thoroughbred racehorses before returning to college to pursue several education-related degrees. Louis L’Amour’s westerns and Marty Robbins’ gunfighter ballads influenced her love of the Old West. Kaye is an obsessive Phantom of the Opera ‘phan’, and her favorite stories are about King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.
