With one last approving look in the mirror of how hot she looked—and felt—in her trashy pirate-wench costume, she inserted the plastic key into the lock slot in the door and turned the handle when the little dot of light glowed green.

The soft sound of slow, sexy saxophone music met her when she entered the room, and the door closed with a quiet click behind her as she paused to look around the lavishly decorated suite.

“Declan? Are you here?”

No answer. The air held the humid hint of shower moisture, so she assumed he was in the bathroom and couldn’t hear her. Following his instructions, she crossed the room to the open balcony doors and stepped outside. A stunning panoramic ocean view from the private balcony was more than breathtaking with the full-moon light glinting on the white-capped waves, breaking over the reef not far off shore. It was a photographic moment she couldn’t let pass. She placed her camera case on the patio table, removed the camera, and lost herself in adjusting settings and snapping pictures.

“This be fair warning. Ye’ll get no quarter here.”

Christy sucked in a gasp as she whirled to face Declan, where he stood silhouetted in the doorway. He was a gorgeous specimen of swashbuckling manhood in his pirate outfit. His white shirt was open to his navel, offering a tantalizing view of his broad, dark-haired, tanned chest. Billowing sleeves, rolled to his elbows, revealed the sinuous definition of his forearms. His shirttail was tucked into thigh-hugging, black trousers, which accentuated his trim waist and narrow hips, and cuffed, over-the-knee leather boots encased his legs. The man had the body of Adonis.

For all his size and strength though, he’d held her with a gentle, graceful, almost loving embrace when they’d danced. She wanted more of that sensuous body-on-body friction, but without their clothing getting in the way.

“You startled me.” She half turned with a gesture toward the view. “The ocean is beau—”

He snatched the camera from her hand. “I said ye’ll get no quarter from me, woman. No mercy at all.” He placed the camera on the table beside the case. “It’s too late to be turnin’ back. Yer my sex slave now, and ye’ll be pillaged and plundered before this night’s over.”
